I was looking for some comfy slippers that also provided warmth up past my ankles. The slippers I've been used to in the past were great for warming feet, but I continually ended up with cold ankles because they are cut so low. These snugs run up above my ankles and my pajamas cover the tops nicely. Everything stays warm. They also seem pretty durable with a reasonable sole and strong seams. If you're looking for something a little taller than the typical slipper, these will fit the bill nicely. I can recommend them.

These are the best slippers I've ever had for keeping my feet warm and cozy. They don't have much padding under foot, but I put in gel inserts and that makes a world of difference. Now they are perfect.
